No Wii U Price Or Release Date This coming year
Chatting with investors during a current Q&A published today, Iwata stated Nintendo needs to regain consumer trust ahead of the launch of Wii U. The first lessen price of your 3DS could force customers to hesitate on purchasing the new console at launch.
"I feel greatly responsible for it," he was quoted saying from the 3DS discounted. "Our decision in the price markdown now has a complication that, within the launch of your Wii U, people can experience that this price might drop before long should they wait.
"Nevertheless, we have now made a decision to trim down the price of the Nintendo 3DS even as we consider it being a necessary decision now. What we should are able to caused by recover the consumers' trust prior to a launch with the Wii U is critical to us."
The Wii U isn't required to launch prior to the beginning of Nintendo's next fiscal year, which begins April 1, 2012. Iwata said news from the console's price and release date defintely won't be coming until sometime pick up.
